Why this blog?
This blog is about the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Library catalog. A library catalog is a collection of records about items such as books, that are owned (or in some cases, leased) by the library. Our library uses the Voyager® integrated library system (ILS) as the catalog back-end. The "online public access catalog" (OPAC) front-end of Voyager® is known as WebVoyáge.
The focus will be on the catalog's design as a user interface for finding information. The primary audience for this blog is UTA Library staff.
